Ocelot

Felis Pardalis

The Ocelot is a beautiful cat, but this makes it lead a dangerous life: It is being extensively hunted for its fur. These cats gan grow over 15kg heavy and close to a meter long (not including the tail). Fleis Pardalis can be found between Texas and Argentina, usually in the forests. Ocelots hunt their prey, mainly rabbits, rodents, iguanas, frogs and small turtles, at night, and, even though they can excellently climb trees, they prefer hunting on the ground.

Jaguar

Panthera Onca

Jaguars and tigers are the only big cats that swim well and enjoy it. The jaguar likes to cool down in the rainforest’s rivers during the hottest time of the day, and sometimes even catches fish to eat. The jaguar uses the thick plantlife of the rainforest to hide, and when it finds prey, it launches a surprise attack. Afterwards, the jaguar drags its catch into the deep forest so that it can dine without being disturbed. Jaguars can be nearly 160 kilograms heavy and, including the tail, about two and three quarters of a meter long.
